I really like this shoe. My only gripe is the amount of wear they are already showing. This isn’t a huge deal for a race shoe but for the price I won’t see near as many miles out of these compared to my Nikes. I am typically a NB fan but for whatever reason their super shoes just don’t feel efficient on my feet. I have also tried every other brand out there and my current go to race shoe is the Vaporfly next % 2’s. This is second next to the Nikes and honestly if I could have gotten a few more runs in them before my race they would have been my first pick. The snug fit is great and really comfortable. It fits my foot like a glove. I also really like the feel of the plate. Not being a full plate it feels a little more forgiving and not as rigid as other brands. I supinate and this shoe rolls me back on my toes quickly at high speeds. Also for me my MP is right around 6min pace and it’s really not until you get below about that 7min mile mark until they really come alive.
Tounge rolls at the edges when putting on. Need the loop in the rear to help put shoe on. Very difficult without significantly unlacing. Probably can not use for triathlons. Don't even think elastic laces will help.
One word: Supershoes!!
Shoe rides well. Runs slightly small so go up a half size. 10 miles in and can feel a huge different in effort needed compared to the Escalante shoe.
