I love the Brooks Ghost 15 and have retired several pairs due to reaching the maximum miles. I ordered this identical pair of them same color and all hoping to wear them for a marathon. Unfortunately, the left shoe has hurt the right side of my foot. I wore them again and they did not seem to hurt my foot the first couple of miles and them hurt my foot again. I'm probably going to return them.

Brooks Ghost has been my running shoe for many years. It fits my foot well, is comfortable, and the shoe lasts. But this particular model is different. As soon as I put them on I felt the difference. I tried them for just one mile and before I was done I had a pain in the ball of my foot. Not sure what they changed or why, but it hurt and so I returned the shoes.

Most of the shoes I’ve had in the past for running have been very cushioned, so I wasn’t sure about these at first, but I’ve really come to appreciate what they mean by these shoes being a work horse! They perform the same in any conditions and you’ve got to appreciate the consistency. Also, I’m very prone to blisters even with the best of socks and these give my blistered feet a break.
